Weight Loss Wednesdays Post #3

Category: ProjectsEyeliah

Last week I did 2 biking sessions and about 10 hours of yoga and ate much better than the week before so I know I’m on the right track.  No I still haven’t seen results but this does not worry me, not today anyways.  It’s important to remember that big changes take time.  Maybe if I could work out twice as much and eat half as much I’d see very quick results but I can’t quite find THAT much motivation.  This next week I’ll do even better, I’ve just got to get more uber-healthy groceries.

Do you beat yourself up when you underachieve?

Weight Loss Wednesdays Post #2

Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking about this post all week!  I must say having all of you to stay accountable to is good motivation though having my birthday celebrations this week was a challenge, but I did manage to eat fairly well with only one or two ‘bad’ meals and one night with alcohol.  I went to five yoga classes, went out dancing twice and went to the gym twice.  Time to check my first weeks results…… Shoot, I’m the same weight! :(  OK, obviously next week needs a much better plan.  My dinners were small portions but they weren’t planned and definitely not healthy enough so this is where I need to improve.

Thanks so much for sharing your healthy goals for the year in last weeks post.  How’s it going so far? Anyone else want to share their story?

Since last weeks weight loss was not so exciting, how about an outfit post. :)  This is what I wore out for dancing on Saturday.

Weight Loss Wednesdays Post #1

Okay so for some reason I am sharing on here that I plan to lose 10 pounds.  I was worried it may be a bit too personal but you’ve always been supportive of everything else.  The last time I had to lose weight was in 2007 due to a knee injury, for every one pound of weight loss four pounds of pressure was taken off my knees.  I’ve had a bit too much fun over the past few months (especially Christmas and Texas) so I have to get back to my fighting weight and take 40 pounds of pressure back off my knees.

I found this awesome free website Weight Mirror where you can upload a picture and create a visual of yourself at your goal weight and also ADD weight, which I don’t recommend because it’s scary!  This picture depicts my best weight, which would be a loss of 15 pounds but at this point I’m not getting ahead of myself and just focusing on 10.

I’m using the site FitDay to monitor my progress.  Today I took my measurements and weight.  Everything starts at a zero count, except for the 2 pounds I’ve already lost :)

Currently I am biking an hour and a half atleast every other day and going to yoga five times a week.  I’m trying to get my food plan in order but feeling sick the past couple of days and eating a couple pieces of my birthday cake yesterday hasn’t exactly helped.  Next Wednesday I will let you all know how the first week went.

Anyone else lost/losing weight?  Tell me about it!
