I never seem to sit on my couch anymore. I have a vintage coffee table with a little yoga block seat and that is where I work and chill out, play games with friends and even eat dinner. It makes sense for me to get rid of the couch and add a bit more floor seating. Already I am in possession of floor pillows, yoga bolsters and a couple comfy Ikea foam mats. These pictures are my design inspiration.
If I had my way, I’d have an epic pair of bell bottoms again. In the 1980s we made fun of them but by the mid 1990s they were everywhere.
And now another 20 years later, it must be about time. Thinking about bell bottoms got me daydreaming about other trends that are due a comeback, whether that be a great or not so great idea.

For the past week I’ve been under the weather, which means watching Doctor Who, sleeping sitting up and catching up on all my favorite blogs. Here are some outfits I’m going to use for inspiration once I’m healthy again. Clearly I am still as girly as ever.
Quirky elegance and double polka dots.
Fringed scarf and patterns.
Feminized leather and army green.
Chunky sweaters and primary colors.
Going out dancing is one of my favorite weekend activities. Lately I have been quite inspired by flirty dance and club wear that I’ve been seeing on the blogs and the dance floor as well as in movies and music videos. Here are my latest style inspirations from around the web.
