My lovely friend with a lovely filled closet did a big clothing purge and invited me over to take what I like. She had more than a few amazing pieces which I am now wearing over and over, thanks Susan! When we are in situations like this, such as at a clothing swap it is such a freeing (literally) “shopping” experience. This is our chance to be bold, try something new, see if a piece we wouldn’t expect will become something we’ll wear until it’s worn out. These clothes do not cost us anything, so why not try the cutesy prairie dress, the bell bottoms or over the top party shirt? Even if you wear it once (or not at all) it can then be traded again at the next swap! If you’ve never been to a swap before, I’ve written this post on how to host your own.
Racer back tank, ruffly beach dress, white painters shirt.
Perfect fit tights, cutest knit teal sweater, spiderweb gloves and a simple cardigan.
Stripes galore, I am living in this sweater and the yellow stripes she painted herself.
Susan Tops. Pleated Skirt, Free from Swap. Circle Necklace, Ebay. Stitches Tights. Thrifted Sandals $3.
