Bad Haircut Evidence

Category: LifeEyeliah @ 7:08 pm

So I know I showed you all my new pink hair, I don’t know if you remember but in June I was talking about growing out my hair…. And then I went for a cut asking specifically for a trim and we agreed on one inch.  Somehow after I took my glasses off my one length shoulder grazing hair turned into this.

Weird chunks cut out of my hair, on one side only and many, many layers.  But I am not worried, I decided to take it as a sign that I am not destined to grow out my hair.  Now I will slowly work my way towards the pixie cut I’ve always wanted. Hence the pink ends, that hair will be chopped off soon enough so might as well have fun with it.

Tell me about your WORST haircut?

Oh. My. God. You should call where you got your hair cut and see what they can do. Most will ask if you’d like to come in and have it fixed for free (the only thing you’d have to pay for is the wash, if you wanted it.) I’ve had my hair like that (except it was very noticeable as one side was a whole inch shorter than the other), and the salon fixed my hair for free. A salon thrives on good customer service, so if YOU are not happy, THEY are not happy! I haven’t had that happen since I switched to my new salon though (thank ye gods!)

My worst hair cut was when I was little and I was getting my hair cut at JC Penney. My mom had asked them to razor the back (with an electric razor) and the stylist razored off a bald spot on the back of my head! It was SO NOTICEABLE!!! You could not not notice it. It was awful!!!! It took forever to grow that out! I still don’t get my hair cut at a JC Penney salon because of that. I’m too scared of a bald spot! I was 7 years old!

hmmm,,, I seem to recall your bangs would NEVER be cut straight!! Also, what about the curling- iron burn on your forehead, yikes!

Kate, I can’t believe you had a bald spot, oh no! 7yr old you must have been mortified. I can’t go back because it’s a one person salon. It’s okay, I am happy the way fate brought me to pink hair 😀

Caboguy, I only remember the burn from being told about it and I will attempt bangs again.

It took years to for that bald patch to grow out fully. YEARS. It was horrifying. And we’re not talking about a bald patch as in, “Oh, this patch is close to the scalp” bald patch. Bald patch as in, “It’s as smooth as a baby’s bottom” bald patch. A nice one inch circle. That was fun for my mom to try and conceal.

Nope, still don’t get my hair cut there. I got my bangs trimmed there last year, but that’s because it was an absolute, positive emergency. I was on pins and needles the ENTIRE TIME. Still was not worth my $17 (or whatever I paid. It was an obnoxious amount), I tell you. NOT WORTH IT.
