Tofino and Ucuelet

Category: LifeEyeliah @ 9:17 am

I spent the long weekend traveling to Tofino and Ucluelet from Vancouver.

People have always lamented on it being very grey, rainy and windy and it so happens they are right.  The first evening was the only time without rain though was still windy.  It reminded me of camping in Alberta actually, even though I was staying in a condo.

The trees through this stretch are so tall, notice the teeny tiny cars.

Wetsuits are necessary.

Uku in Ukee!

Silly picture opportunity in Coombs.

    – VERY cool pictures … I like your photo eye! – seeing a real bear cub in the wild,,,that’s an experience that millions of people would like to have. I would like to enjoy some different weather (maybe soon if the rians come to PV)

    – your second photo of the big chunk of driftwood looks like a mythical creature waking up – the head has an eye, the legs are stretched out in front and it looks like a large horn or antler growing out of the back of it’s head ,,, agreed??

ooh these are so pretty! There’s one that looks like a painting, is that a little bear in the clearning?!

I always look for driftwood when I go to the water, THIS is some major driftwood!
