With warmer days approaching I decided to go bathing suit shopping. I was happy to see that bra style bikini tops are back in style, they are much more comfortable then the ‘tie around your neck’ variety. But then I wasn’t able to find any in stores! So I went with bandeaus as they are also quite comfortable for a full day at the beach. I tried on many cute cheap bikinis at h&m and bought one top (which I subsequently returned). I went to another suit shop which had mostly Seafolly and Roxy bikinis, but I don’t have $200 to invest in a bathing suit right now or I probably would have walked away with one of these…
Then I went to Joe Fresh and though the selection was limited I found two flattering suits that came home with me. We shall see how the quality of these bikini’s hold up but for $30 each I will be pleased as punch if they last one season.

This nautical top has a removable adjustable strap. Due to the smooth curve at the neck it is also quite comfortable to leave on.

The green bikini is actually a bright kelly green which I could not properly photograph for the life of me so here is a maple leaf closer to the correct shade. I also like how these tops and bottoms are interchangeable with what I already have particularly a muted watercolored h&m bandeau and my two body glove bottoms in brown and bright purple.
