I am looking for a part time job to help supplement my yoga teaching. Since I got back from Europe in May I’ve had enough money to pay rent and to eat and that may be just about it…. Life is great but now that summer is over I feel ready to be more productive. Last time I looked for part time work other than yoga was when I went door to door in January. It did not go well not even receiving one call back. This time I need to work at it more diligently, friends are going to Vegas in February and to have any chance in joining them I need a few more dollars in my bank account.
I’ve only actually ever had two non yoga jobs in this city! And they were both really hard for me to find. Vancouver doesn’t advertise jobs in newspapers, they seem to all be on craigslist. The challenge with this is that since you don’t have to pay to use craigslist, anyone can post job ads which means a lot of fakes and placement agencies and also a lot of competition between job seekers.
I am determined to find something, so things may be a bit quiet on here this week. Wish me luck!

The best jobs never get posted anywhere, so if there’s any companies you’re interested, get in touch with them on your own.

Good luck on your job hunting! Hope that you find the appropriate job for you, especially now that summer is over. I too have experienced that feeling of not being employed for 2 months, and fortunately I was able to find one that I really like that is of course with a little bit luck and a lot of hardwork. Anyway, good luck!
