We were in the elevator together, we then got out on the same floor and walked around the same corner….. she said “wait, are you in that apartment? I think I am the noisy neighbor!”
We ended up talking for a few minutes, she said the people who lived in my apartment previously blared music all day and she had tried to get THEM to be quiet! She was used to having to play her music that loud to drown out her noisy neighbors. She did notice a difference as soon as I moved in July 1st and when she got my note she turned her music down permanently. And for me after moving four times in nine months it it is nice to have a quiet place to live that feels like home.
