Amsterdam, An Update

Category: TravelEyeliah @ 12:16 pm

I can’t get enough of Amsterdam!
I thought I’d be relaxing at cafes and playing the ukulele but instead I just want to bike, everywhere.

I should point out, I get lost often.  Some of these paths weren’t intended to be discovered.

To Do List DONE
Concert at Melkweg, buy a bike and ride 5+ hours a day, Voldenpark, Van Gogh Museum, original Bulldog Cafe, Red Light District by day, Basking at MuseumPlein, cheese for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Poffertjes, Kroket, more Poffertjes, Artis Zoo, Begijnhof, ROOT CANAL (that wasn’t on my list but had to be done), Albert Cuyp Market (almost daily), Oude Kerk, Nieuwe Kerk, Eucharist at Sint Nicolaaskerk, get itch from Stinging Nettle, learn how to use the wasdroger, get up before 8 everyday (all but once), cook most meals.

Find open roads to bike, Anne Frank House, Red Light District at Night, Jordaan, The Heineken Experience, Canal Cruise, Sex Museum (3 Euros!), Madame Tussauds (maybe), Reijks Museum, Concert at Paradiso, Spa Day, Night Out Dancing, Amsterdam Forest.

.Bike theft is a serious problem in the Netherlands especially around train stations and in larger cities. Never park a bike near a station use the guarded bike parking stalling .
