Keep It, Store It, Lose It – Closet Purge Part II

So….. here is the heaping pile of clothes that I have to get rid of. :-(

I literally do not even have one turtleneck or piece of leopard print left.  Still left to purge are shoes, purses, scarves and jewelry.

These were the items I wanted to save but only could choose ten.

The Final Decision
First row, get rid of. Second row, keep for summer. Third and Fourth rows, keep!

Out of all the items I had to get rid of, the only thing I really *wish* I didn’t is my pink floral dress (top left of this picture) so I’ve decided it is my bonus eleventh save. :-)

My Mind Is Open Wide

In a way, having a less than half full closet makes it easier for me to get dressed in the morning.  Though I know there for sure will be many more outfit repeats now which will be interesting in respect to this blog.  Speaking of repeating, I’ve been listening to the new Arcade Fire album The Suburbs on repeat since I picked up the disc last Tuesday.  No exaggeration I’ve listened to it 30+ times already… my priorities are in the right place.

To Post or To Comment, That Is The Question

If you are a blogger…..what is more important to you; that I post more regular on my blog or that I take the time to comment on your blog? I am finding it so hard to consistently do both!! It’s a tough question to put forth because I of course really appreciate when you comment on my blog and honestly it’s what keeps me motivated to post so how can I say I don’t have time to reciprocate.

I still find the time to read/skim/look at your blogs pretty pictures but typing out a witty comment, adding all my info, typing in a verification code *sigh* I am just running short of the time for all that jazz. Twitch your Things I Love Fridays are among my favorite series out there, Whimsical Nerd I am ecstatic you are back, No Signposts I always read every glorious word you write, Aya and Kater your recent photoshoots have been blowing my mind, Wardrobe Wanderer you are too adorable, Lyddie you are getting so popular (props!), Smile Goes With Everything you have such great variety and your bentos make me drool.  Fluffy and Ebony you are so sweet I wish you were my younger sisters, Missa, Audi and Sal I would love you to be my older and wiser ones. Karina I am so proud of your new journalistic career and have read every word of it! Dearilou, Owls, Nicola and Renr you have fun and inspiring personal styles.
