The weather in Vancouver has me dressing beyond simply in thin cotton dresses, cute flats and beach hats.
Here are the photos inspiring the accessories added to my outfits.

Wow, I’m used to it being HOT here–always is scorching this time of year, but surprised to hear it’s even hot as far north as Vancouver! Cute looks! I wore a halter dress over a swimsuit the other day..a little like the second to last photo. What’s the temp there? Here it’s 100+ Fahrenheit for days on end, ugh. I am so not a fan of heat, and am constantly dreaming of moving somewhere cool during the summertime.

Bleck. All this hot weather is making me gag. It should be an excuse to pull out some of my forgotten accessories, but instead I just drip into a puddle of sweat and forget about trying to look cute. I’m hoping that by the time I get to the northwest next week that it will be down a few degrees and the rocky beaches will be foggy and cool so I can wear a turtleneck. That would be amazing.

Scalloped shorts and a vintage inspired swim suit are definitely on my list!

it is so much harder to look good in the insane heat, so this inspiration set is quite helpful. i really like the 2nd look, and the glamourai’s outfit w/ the bandeau.
