It’s the finale people! They switched it up making it a 2 hour event and instead of a final three for the last episode this season there was a final four. First the girls had to do an ‘ugly pretty’ photoshoot knowing that afterwards two of them would be sent home.

Angela and Alexandra were eliminated, rightfully so.
The final two Raina and Krysta had to compete in a bubbly and fun Anna Sui fashion show. I like both their walks, Krysta seemed to have more energy but Raina has those powerful and sexy volleyball legs which is quite appealing as well.
And then shoot Cover girl commercial and print advertisements. Both girls did good enough but neither was stellar on the commercial, I think Rainas print ad is much more compelling.
In the end Krysta won, congrats to her! I think she was performaing much better week to week than Raina was and Krysta was also definitely the most stand out beauty from the beginning. I was surprised when she said she’s tried out many times before, what took so long for Tyra to put her on the show I wonder.
The best part of the episode was Andre talking about his early days working as an assistant to Andy Warhol. It is a really inspiring success story reiterating that to get anywhere it takes hard work and patience.
More than anything I am glad this season of Tyra jumpsuits is finally over!!!

That photo of Angelea looks bad. She didn’t win and her attitude never improved. The winner was a good choice and I’m glad the season is over!

I’m so glad this season is over! I would have liked Raina to win (I thought her Covergirl print was SO much better than Krysta’s), but I can see why the judges went for Krysta. She improved more during the competition, and I guess winning best picture so many times in a row made her a sure winner. Having said that, to me Krysta’s eyes looked dead in every single picture throughout the season, regardless of how well she eventually learned to pose. All in all, I thought this was a blah season with a blah winner.

I haven’t been watching this season. I did watch some of the finally though, and the one thing that stuck with me more than anything else was, what the hell was Tyra wearing? That had to be the ugliest purple thing I have ever seen. And to think she critiques the outfits the girls wear to judging…

Oh, I totally second your thoughts about Tyra’s jumpsuits! Shame to hear that Raina didn’t win but I’m sure she will still do well for herself.
