A Transitional Phase

Category: My OutfitsEyeliah @ 9:45 pm

I just found a couple of outfits from before the Cabo trip and look one outfit is pants!  Okay, it’s not a big deal but you know it is rare for me.  With my previous posts on style evolution I have to say I am currently in the ‘transitional phase’ as in my outfits are lacking focus and are occasionally feeling a bit stuck.  Lately I wake up each morning and have literally no clue what to wear.  Does this often happen to you?  I need to buckle down and plan a few looks but my life behind the scenes is pretty busy these days!!   Hopefully I can make some time for that soon but in the meantime it is good to show this struggled process on the blog.  After all, change takes time.

Poet Blouse, Ebay. Esprit Navy Pants. Thrifted Brown Vest and Mens Loafers.

Thrifted Houndstooth Blazer, Lace Collared Dress and Ankle Boots.

Love Eyeliah

Loving the little houndstooth ensemble! The whole thinng works together really well. And i think you are brave and inspiring for showing the ‘struggle’, not just showing the bits you’re really happy with.

Mornings when I haven’t planned anything to wear are the worst.
I waste too much time staring blankly at my closet.

I don’t dislike pants, but I feel like it is harder to look really cute or chic in them when you are not tall.

I don’t think this phase is lacking focus at all! I am seriously LOVING that last outfit! That thrifted blazer is so fabulous and looks great with that silhouette!

O know what you mean about the time involved in any sort of change, and realizing it’s part of the whole process.

What helps me is to keep going over the stuff/images that I feel inspired by in that moment. Or go looking for new material!

Ooh, I love both of these! The vest is great, and the jacket in the second outfit is so chic!!

For someone in a transitional slump you’re looking pretty sharp!

I really dig the collar on that dress. As for not knowing what to wear… it is an adventure that I face every morning.
