I Must Be Looking For Something

Category: My OutfitsEyeliah

When I was a teenager I successfully kept track of all my dreams in a journal for about a year.  One day I met this insightful girl who wanted to read through it and give me her thoughts on what it all meant.  I handed it over to her only slightly reluctantly, sadly and inevitably I never saw my journal again. Even though the written account was lost I can still remember many of my dreams from that time as the act of writing them down and rereading helped cement the adventures into my brain. Since my dreams lately have been as topsy and turvy as those days (14 years old, now 28 coincidence?) I’ve started keeping track of my dreams in a notebook again.

Tell me about a recent dream you had?
Do you record your dreams?

Today I wanted to wear stripes, so I overdosed.

We’re Gonna Enter A New Life

Category: My Outfits,Symmetry ChallengeEyeliah

I read today that Devendra Banhart broke his leg and had to cancel the rest of his tour, how very sad (and ominous that I dreamed about him last night).  The show a couple weeks ago was so incredible, he played an eclectic mix of folk songs, rock, vocal expanding arias, love songs and danceable tunes. For the last three songs he lost his top which is a trademark, search Devendra Banhart in google images and you’ll get mostly shirtless results.  If I knew his music better and hadn’t forgot a pen I would have done a set list. I can tell you he opened with Long Haired Child and played A Sight To Behold as well.  Thank you Devendra and get better soon.

Style Me #5
The Waves of No Signposts in the Sea

It’s been so long since I’ve worn this bowler, thanks so much The Waves for styling me such a fun outfit. And I forgot the pearl purse in the house before the shots (whoops).
