The Big Bag Dilemma

Category: I ShopEyeliah @ 12:00 pm

So I see for the poll results and comments that overall you do not like the floral bag, lol. I am so glad that when I ask for your opinions you are honest, just like girlfriends should be so thank you.  I went to Winners and checked out their massive bag selections, lots of marked down Matt & Nat which I may have to go back and consider as I hear the bags last for years. Below are the three bags I really fell for, complete with sneakily taken pictures.

This buttery leather was a dream, and has these cool zipper tassels (currently protected by the plastic). It’s $110 which sadly I have never spent that much on anything.  I still want it, it looks fabulous on my arm and would go with everything.  There was only one left in the store!!  I may go see if it’s still there after work.

This red bag had the right price at $40 but looked so huge on my arm, I don’t want a purse THAT big.  And the other was soft and the perfect shade of plum but had too many flaws for me to pay $135.

If I go back to buy the beige purse with Winners awesome return policy I can always return it, drat I should have bought it yesterday.

Do you ever get this non-buying remorse?

The last time I really screwed up is when I got my black faux suede boots, they were also available in brown and I should have got that second pair.  These are the most comfortable and flattering boots ever.  When I went back a couple days later they were all sold out. 🙁  But hey, I still have a black pair!

This weekend I am headed to Make It Vancouver where everything is handmade by Canadian designers so I will be on the lookout for a purse while I’m there.

Guess I missed out on the floral purse, cute but if priority is versatility I think you won’t regret not getting it. The first bag seems like a good versatile piece, and if you have trouble digesting the price, just think about it in terms of price per wear, if you wear often it’ll pay for itself and be totally worth it! I kinda like the plum one too…
Make It! sounds like an awesome venue, goodluck on finding the perfect bag!

I get awful buyer’s remorse when I’m in another country…especially in Shanghai. I always come back here and feel like the clothes here are so dull compared the ones in China, and so much more expensive! Did you go back?

I love how you take pictures of bags at Winners. I used to take pictures of designer bags and shoes at Holt Renfrew until they kicked me out for doing it lol.
I hope the brown bag is still there when you go back,it’s gorgeous

I get that a lot with shoes. Size 10s are not easy to come by because stores tend to not order many size 10s and a lot of women wear that size. If I find a pair of 10s that’s cute, comfortable the price is right, I snatch it up!
