Fall/Winter Inspirations

Category: My Closet,My OutfitsEyeliah @ 11:45 am

I have been thinking about fall/winter inspirations and the items in my closet that I want to wear in this upcoming season.

Sheer floral scarf adds softness.
The beige gradient is very long and flowing, it was a gift.
Burgundy will look lovely with dark lipstick.
And leopard print should always be a staple.

I’m really feeling gold toned accessories.
Light green earrings will be pretty with winter whites and add femininity to blacks and browns.
The hammered gold earrings will be perfect for making a statement.
These mens suede necklaces have been sitting idle long enough, I need more looks like this.
Big brooches will be going on jacket lapels.

What are your fall/winter inspirations? Please tell me! 😉

I already wore the leopard scarf, and I think for the last time this year bare legs – that was a mistake brrrr.  Feeling rather cheeky I toke outfit photos in a change room. 😉 That red dress was super cute but I decided against it for some reason?  Probably since I am saving for a holiday and I mostly went in to warm up!  For the holiday it could be anywhere from California, Montreal, New York to Amsterdam. We’ll have to see.

I am inspired by so many things at the moment it almost feels like my brain is going to explode! 🙂 Sewing is probably at the top of my list. It is so exciting to see beautiful fabrics and imagine clothes out of them. I am really feeling prints, layering, tomato red, long dresses/skirts and big jewellery right now. Btw, that red dress on the wall looks really nice; what a shame you left it behind, although I know, sometimes it has to be done! 🙂

I have one vintage cashmere cardigan that I looove to pull out when the weather gets crisp. My autumn inspirations are usually kind of gothic in nature – black manicures, capes, etc. – which I then try to work with my colourful wardrobe 🙂

& you look great – I love the scarf!!

I too am very drawn to leopard print, having bought a scarf today that has a touch of leo in it. I remember when I was in junior high and animal print was a trend. It was bright, it was over the top, and it was cheap. I actually remember envying a girl for her leopard print pants. Oh the 90’s. When animal print was about being wild!
I really like how you tied your scarf. It makes the print seem so cute, rather than wild.

Ohh – I love this outfit. The scarf, the cardigan, the skirt that coordinates so well with the scarf! Beautiful! 🙂
