I forgot to tell you, I saw the Dalai Lama on Tuesday! He drove by me in a motorcade and I found out later he was here for a peace summit, too cool. And today Sam Roberts is giving a free concert at The Bay Downtown, so excited to check that out! Cowboy Junkies will also be there at noon.
I’ve had this top for a while now but it is long and blousy so I wasn’t quite sure how to wear it, tucked into a high waisted skirt was the answer. I think my outfits have found a new simplicity through the summer as it was hard to wear extra pieces in the record breaking heat. I am curious to see if that will continue in my fall dressing. I don’t mind the simplicity, it’s helpful for running around and taking photos.
Do you prefer simplicity or eclecticism in your outfits?

Oh yeah, and I also wore a bit too much makeup, new purple eyeshadows from Clinique Bonus Time.

OT but I think you could totally wear the graffiti dress. Just go for it! Plus it’s on sale: http://francisnewyork.com/blog/2009/10/public-service-announcement-bloomies-sale/

Too much makeup? Well, it is not noticeably too much. I think it looks quite lovely.
And as for simplicity vs eclecticism: I like touches of the eclectic in a necklace or some earrings, but nothing to bold and over the top usually. I tend to feel too costumey if I wear something too flashy.

Love you look dear! I prefer both simplicity and eclecticism in my outfits. I’m so indecisive with what I wear, so I’m always trying something new. Great post

Ahahaha. You know what’s funny? I looked and thought your make-up was STUNNING. I mean I know I know, too much make-up in real life often leads to a great photo, but still. It looks really pretty from over here.
