Moving Through The Glass Alone

Category: My OutfitsEyeliah @ 11:00 am

Can I take a moment to plug the latest GIVEAWAY and the new blog? Enter the giveaway here and then check out The Eyeline for Vancouver Canada Street Style. I am bursting with photos adding two a day with no slowing down in sight, I might even bump it up to three. Today I posted Sisi from the First Season of Canada Next Top Model. She was so nice to pose for me and she’s also oh so stylish.

To an outfit, it didn’t photograph all that well but it wore well. Mixed red and pink, matched the accessories to the cream and beige of the dress and it created such a romantic and pretty look. And yes I wore these cream shoes prior to Labour Day, but I think that rule is outdated anyway.

Do you have outfits that look way better in person than a photograph?
Tell me about it!

    I really like that dress.
And I find that most of my outfits look better in person. It is that whole photographic flatening thing. I am constantly displeased with my photos mostly because of what the 2D image does to my 3D face. I’m always like “Man, I look way better than that, I know it.”

I can never manage a skinny belt like that. I feel like it’s either riding up or sinking down!

Actually, the coat I’m wearing @ my new post isn’t the one of a thousand Euros (luckily XD) but from H&M and was only 60 Euros XD. You should’ve seen that coat though! I was brainwashed by it *_*

Also, I’ve a really creepy and strange habit of photographing outfits to see if they actually work (colour wise silhouette etc.) because most of the time I can’t really “see” myself. I know it’s weird and it has gotten less in time but so yeah, I don’t think I’ve any outfits that look lesser photographed than IRL? XD

Yes, most of them! 😀 No, I suppose some look as good, though not in -all- photographs… so I try to take lots of shots in the hope that at least one or two will turn out well!
