My Grandmothers Ring Part II

Category: LifeEyeliah @ 3:00 pm

So upon seeing the post and your comments (thank you!) my dad memory was jolted into recognition – yay! The middle stone represents my grandparents as they have the same birth month, and the four stones to each side symbolize their children. The pink stone is actually rose zircon for my dads birthday in October. 🙂

Next to find out, is as the ring came to me in a Birks box if it is actually from there.

i love vintage jewelry and especially love to hear the stories behind it.

that is a beauty you have there, miss lady!

once you get the facts, write them down and store them with the ring so that your future children, or whoever gets the ring next will have the story too. 🙂

Great to solve the mystery and have such a beautiful keepsake. As rebecca s. said above do write down the info for future generations. When I went through my grandmother’s things some beautiful items had notes with them, but many things did not so the “stories” they might have had were lost with her.
