Sorry so many dark photos lately, with that bright bright sun I struggle to get the right lighting. It’s a good thing since that means it’s been nice and gorgeous out, no tights or long sleeves required.
Any tips for getting better lighting with the sun behind you?

When you’re backlit like that, a diffused flash might help out a bit. To keep the flash from being too strong, try taping a small piece of tracing paper or wax paper over it.

I love this color combination! That skirt is cute.
Hmm, I don’t know what to say about the lighting. I usually just try to avoid having the sun behind me. You could try turning up the brightness on your camera–it would make the background blown-out, but you would be lighter.

that colour is so fab, bright yellow can often get a shade to garing..as for the light Diana seems to have a good tip..I can’t do anything with my digital camera, the auto function works best there..

flash is the only way. Check and see if you can turn down the intensity of it very low.
