Are Clothing Swap Parties Better Than Shopping?

Category: Clothing Swaps,ProjectsEyeliah

Ugh, this commenting problem is really getting the better of me right now, I need to just let it go. I know you are still here reading and many of you aren’t able to comment so I get that. I do appreciate those who try and the few comments that do come through, so thank you.

I do have a recap from the Clothing Swap Party of awesomeness we had yesterday. These girls always surprise me with the amounts of fabulous items they bring, you really want to swap that? Okay, I’ll take it. Here’s my new items; a black slip, apple printed shirt, 3 pretty scarves, black wrap around tie shirt, black to-the-bellybutton sexy cowl blouse, white skirt (a leftover; a bit small for me so high waisted) and a purple and lace cami. Wow!

We were a lil sweaty on the hottest day EVER in Vancouver (it broke the record from 1960) but I’ll share a few pics anyways as these girls know how to pose. As you may tell, I didn’t even get dressed but wore my American Apparel romper – lol.

So to answer the title question, swaps are so much better than shopping hands down. Items you no longer wear find new life, you get new stuff, you get to hang out with your girlfriends and did I mention it’s free?! For more information on Clothing Swaps check out How To Host and How To Be A Guest.

P.S. I saved the best for last the peacock, velvety, huge, cape thingy with tassels. It was my first item choice. :-)
