Went to see The Veronicas last night with Karina. We ended up snagging the best view in the joint, dead centre on the balcony and it was alot of fun. The Pretty Reckless (Taylor Momsen Little J from Gossip Girl’s band) opened. I was really surprised by the power in Taylor’s vocals. That girl can really sing, she is comfortable on the stage and can even play a bit of guitar and keyboards all at only 15 years old. I think she is well suited to this rock and roller occupation, and we may be hearing more and more from The Pretty Reckless. Headliners The Veronicas were so sassy and fun, dancing around the stage in short skirts and heels. The bassist kept catching my eye with his killer stage moves. Jessica hit some crazy high notes especially wailing for a Mother Mother cover. Take Me on the Floor was the best of the night, it got everyone in the pit dancing.
