Susie of Style Bubble from London, UK is the epitome of a Blogger Style Icon. Her style of high color and contrast a mix of designer, high street, vintage and diy. Her blog reads like an editorial fashion mag, turning us on to the the latest fabulous unknown designers, features behind the scene stories and brand showcases. She has also been photgraphed by many of the street style greats. Below are Susie’s answers to The Symmetry Seven.
1. What would you name your personal style?
2. Is there anything you wouldn’t wear?
Hmmm….. maybe a cropped top with nothing underneath it. I love crackling too much.
3. Where do you get your outfit inspirations?
All over the place – museums, galleries, the weather, films, magazines, books and memories. It’s fairly haphazard where outfits come from – could be a packet of Walkers crisps mixed with the blue sky outside.
4. Tell us about your day job?
I’m the commissioning editor of DazedDigital.com. That involves wacking out a lof of emails and basically staring at a computer screen all day everyday.
5. How much time do you spend working on your blog?
Less and less these days – maybe 1-2 hours a day?
6. What songs/albums are you loving right now?
Oooh….. can’t get enough of School of Seven Bells, Passion Pit, Herman Dune, The Do and the new Tiga stuff at the moment….
7. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I actually seriously considered becoming an astronaut, ballerina, concert pianist, interior designer to ad exec. The last one sort of became a reality. I was so serious when I was little that I actually looked up all of these careers in a school database to see what my earning potential would be. That’s pretty tragic.
Susie thank you so much for participating!! 🙂
