Oh my goodness, my friends Tri-Birthday party was quite the event. To reach our destination we walked, then cabbed, then took a seabus, then a bus, then walked part way up a mountain and we arrived in 1920s France. The house built by my friends grandfather in the 1950s still retains all its original charm and was the perfect location to transport into the past. The secluded front lawn beautifully decorated with lights, an antique couch and of course the Eiffel Tower. And then a slew of fabulously 1920s-esque friends all throughout the house. As I could not fit a camera in my purse I will need you to use your imagination for everyone elses looks, perhaps I may get permission to post a few photos in a future post.
Here was my outfit!! Now originally I was going to wear my only red dress with the same accessories, but when this sequin dress of Karina’s was shining through the pile at her Swap Party yesterday it took over the job!! Thanks Karina.
Do you notice the shoes on my feet?? Yes they are The Jazz Shoes that lost a heel. They were the only shoes that could really work for 1920s so I had them fixed last week. Thanks so much to Shay, I went to your cobbler and he did a fabulous job for $40.
