Cold War Kids was a magical show at the Commodore! We ended up in a wicked spot right near the front, and I swear I even made eye contact with these guys! What is is about lead singers, they are always so attractive? Has much to do with the talent and of course the connection we’ll feel to the lyrics they sing. Please say I am not the only one?

I went with two guy friends which was a new experience but one hundred percent good. The Commodore was particularly hot and combine that with dancing my butt off for 80 minutes, it was a little sweaty. Perhaps I should have wore a skirt, but for once I was in jeans. Since I do not have my camera yet, I wore this lime top, these Bongo jeans, the boots and a wrist of bracelets. Rather simple for me but it happens

The craziest thing? Everyone knew ALL the lyrics to a third of the songs. And they were singing at the top of their lungs so much so that we couldn’t even hear the band sing!! Especially for Hang Me Out to Dry, We used to Vacation and Saint John. I have experienced this before at many concerts, but usually only once a show for their most uber-popular song. I couldn’t believe how many huge Cold War Kids fans we have here in Vancouver! It made the night so special to be jumping and singing in such a big group of people so close together in harmony, no pushing or shoving.
The moment of the night was Robbers, first they turned out all the lights so it was near pitch black. Then the band had flashlights they were shining out into the audience lighting up individuals in the crowd. I am sure we all had a moment when the light stopped on us. It was very cool, I told the guys they were picking out the hot chicks for backstage, lol.

Exciting times at Style Symmetry people! I cannot thank you enough for stopping by, reading the blog and leaving such thoughtful comments! You all make my days brighter and continually motivate me to post. I haven’t missed a day more than a handful of times and not once in the last year and that’s all because of you!
