Dangerous Liaisons

Category: MediaEyeliah @ 6:35 pm

I saw this movie finally for the first time three weeks ago. The moment it was over, I started it right back at the beginning again. I have watched it four times, not returned it to the video store and don’t plan on returning it until I purchase my own copy. I am of course talking about Dangers Liaisons. If you have not seen it, I highly recommend. I am sure you have seen Cruel Intentions, this is what it was based on, and this is based on a French novel written in the late 1700s. The setting, costumes and evil doing is simply divine. Below are some of my favorite stills from the movie.

John Malkovich as The Vicomte de Valmont. My favorite shot is at the beginning of the movie, Vicomte and all his manservants getting him ready for the day.

Glenn Close as The Marquise de Merteuil had the best costumes.

Innocent Cécile de Volanges played by a gorgeously fresh faced Uma Thurman pictured with her manipulators.

Michelle Pfeiffer as Madame de Tourvel.

Wheeling and dealing.

More costumes.

Have you seen it?

I haven’t seen it but I love Michelle Pfeiffer, I think she’s so watchable and obviously exceptionally beautiful. Must look out for this.
