One of my oldest items is a sheer floral top from Le Chateau. I remember at the time gasping at the $50 price tag, but loving it too much to leave it at the store. So glad I bought it, 13 years later I’m still wearing it!

Polka Dot Skirt, Suzy Shier. New York Burlesque Festival Tee, Ebay. AA Red Tights. Thrifted Ankle Boots.
There was a time, 2005/6 when I wore this top and skirt constantly, not necessarily together. Thought I’d dig ‘em out of the back of the closet for today.
What’s the oldest item of clothing still in your closet?

OMG, I loved the NY burlesque festival, you look cute and have not changed at all, well except the length of your hair

LOVE that floral print, what a great item to have saved. I was actually just trying to figure this out the other day and I think the oldest items I still have, were two items from around the same time period as your blouse. The only reason I still have them is because I was wearing the sheer floral slip dress the night I first kissed my now husband and the orange and yellow striped tee shirt that I wore on our first date… and yes it happened in that order

My oldest clothing item is a floral romper I used to wear to death in the early 90′s. Every once in awhile I’m tempted to pull it out and see if I can style it in a more modern way.
