Taint My Mind But Not My Soul, Tell You I Got Fire

Category: My OutfitsEyeliah @ 1:35 pm

Below is the dress from Mintage I was telling you about. It fits perfect and it’s orange so I had to have it.
The days are getting sunnier and brighter, so is my mood. 🙂 Scoring a ticket to see The Kills for a third time may have something to do with it. I didn’t even bother to see who else wants to come before purchasing, so hopefully there will be others to join me. Their set at Richards on Richards was one of the best shows I saw in ’08, obviously I have to go again.
What band would you pay your hard earned dollars to see again and again?

Vintage Dress: $10. Thrifted Suede Belt and Mens Loafers. McGregor Blue Tights.

I would actually cut off my left arm to re-live a Wintersleep show I went to last winter.
It was ridiculous. Super tiny venue, and halfway through they realized something was just a hair off with their equipment so they started their set over again. Simply amazing. I didn’t know their music well when I got there, but they made me a fan by the time I left.

gosh, that’s a fab colour on you!! I’m probably going to the Kills too – it will be my 4th time seeing them if so. It’ll be weird not to see them at Richards though, they so suit that venue somehow…

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jenny Lewis/Rilo Kiley.
Oh! And The Hives. They have such an amazing stage presence.
But I’m not really a concert goer. I have trouble sitting and watching someone sing. If they jump around and do something interesting, sure, but so often it is a person behind the mike and they just stand there. It bores me. Like, I love listening to classical music but I hate classical concerts. Meh. Maybe I’m just a bad music lover.

Mo, Wintersleep just announced a concert here, I’ll get a ticket if I can find a friend to go with. 🙂
