The Clothing Swap Party

Category: Clothing Swaps,ProjectsEyeliah @ 3:55 pm

The Clothing Swap Party was a lot of fun and a huge hit! I had some fabulous pieces that I’ve been saving up for quite some time that I couldn’t just give to the thrift store and luckily they were all snatched up. This was a small swap, 6 of us in total which is a good starter party as not one of us had EVER been in a swap before. That being said, not many pictures were taken.

It was just too busy to be in everyones face with the camera, I promise to do better at that next time. I really need to hire a personal photographer, they can follow me around everywhere and snap all my fun filled day to days lol. Okay, back to reality, I got some gorgeous things!!! I decided to pose for a picture that will be quite familiar to the parentals, lol. I always had to pose like this at Birthdays and Christmas with my gifts. The sweater I’m wearing was also from the swap (and I haven’t taken it off since!).

The unbelievable items I took home.

Above, a brown linen dress with white stitching, linen skirt, gorgeous tailor made green dress and stripey strawberry button top. All of these were from the amazing Melody.

Some cute shirts, an ah-maz-ing belt from Shay and a purple beaded necklace. Thank you so much to everyone, I’m already looking forward to the next one!

It looks like a fun time! I wonder how much it costs to hire a personal photographer…

Oh Ambika, it was so easy. By tomorrow I’ll put up my ‘how to’ post for the swap.

I’m so jealous! My friends and I all vary so much in sizes that I don’t think a swap would go well – we would lust after eachother’s clothes and just be sad nothing would fit us!

Loving that sweater, I’ve been on the lookout for a cozy gray sweater lately.
