I had five minutes to get dressed for a yummy brunch so dressed simply in a cute top and skirt. These Saturday brunches are fast becoming habitual for us, it’s been a great time of the week to catch up with friends and loved ones.

It was an unexpectedly gorgeous day!! After all the snow, and fog and more snow, this taste of summer was a welcome surprise. We made sure to not waste it, taking a long walk after brunch and then spent the rest of the daylight out on the balcony. The days are getting longer, we are halfway to summer, I am re-energized. Today it is back to snow and rain, very funny weather.

I love the skirt! I don’t think I’ll ever understand how people can get dressed in anything less than 15 minutes. I guess I really need to work on it!
