A simple black dress has never been quite my style, in fact I haven’t owned one in over a decade. When I saw this little lace cutie at the thrift store, mint condition for $5, I couldn’t just leave it there. I am sure I will continue to find different ways to mix it up, these light green tights did the trick here.

The leopard cat eye glasses bottom middle were hard to capture but so cute. I think my fav are the oversized Halston frames top right. But the search continues, and I may just stay with my current frames for now.

Elodie loves Dita von Teese and although the impression is obvious she by no means clones Dita’s style. Of course the red lips, pale skin and killer heels is very Dita, but by adding a quirky Tim Burton bag and functional beret she manages to showcase her individual style. This is an ideal way to interpret fashion influence. Easy Fashion was so right to capture Elodie, and how could anyone miss her in those amazing lace up stockings?

Thanks ladies for all your thoughts on flat irons, I do admit my hair sure looks good when its all flattened out. After today, it will be kinked and curving so I will have to save some $$ and order an iron soon.
Edit: I forgot to mention, this was shopambrosia inspired.
