I have been at the new H&M in Vancouver a few times, but this is my first changeroom visit. In there I was literally surrounded by full length mirrors, a full wall, rotating mirror behind me and the door also had a reflective surface. Lots of clothing hooks also added to the rooms efficiency. Unfortunately it was an unsuccessful venture. Things that were cute were the wrong size or fabrics. If they had my size left in the red version of the purple dress, I would have got it. And the rest I just couldn’t get excited about. Must have to do with that green BCBG dress that’s still living in my mind, and the coupon for $100 off that doesn’t exprie until December.

While I’m here I might as well take an outfit photo, no harm. I finally wore the brown velvet Ellen Tracey blazer!!! This is 3+ yrs in the making people, I’m ecstatic! The shoulders previously felt too broad but today they felt just right. You can see a hint of my loafers in the mirrored image. ![]()

I love the blazer and spotty skirt (dress?) – super-cute!
I miss H&M but then maybe it’s not as good as I remember without the rose-coloured glasses.
