Wardrobe Remix Icon Nemrešpobjećodnedjelje!
I chose a few recent favorite outfits from Nemrešpobjećodnedjelje, who by the way possibly has the best flickr name ever! I am still shocked and awed that she doesn’t have a blog of her own. The genius (yes I’ll go that far) to her outfits is the unexpected mixing of decades, styles and color as well as an amazing collection of tights! She was also the inspiration behind knotting my dresses and wearing collared shirts under scooped dresses.

Red Eyed Solo Concert
I have to say, going to see rock shows all by myself has been quite liberating. Thursday night was the third time I’ve done this in the last year. I can really lose myself in the music, dance how I want, stand where I want and yes sing as much as I want! It’s much easier (and cheaper) then dragging along a friend who isn’t into that band.
This is the getup I threw on before the show. My red boots are officially my new favorite footwear! The shawl was perfect to sit on the grass and then wear on the chilly, long walk home and I wore a hat since the forecast called for rain.
P.S. My first real guitar lesson went very well, I am no longer self taught.

Last Day of Summer
Officially it’s the last day of summer. 
I decided to go all out and wear my favorite dress.
Last night we watched The Love Guru and Speed Racer. Both were box office bombs and panned by critics, and I thought they were awesome! I’m even wishing I saw the visually stunning Speed Racer in theaters. Lesson: popular opinion does not always equal my opinion. Another bomb I want to go see is Surfer, Dude (McConaughey) but it’s not even playing in theaters here (or anywhere really). You’d think McConaughey with his shirt off for an entire movie would be enough of a selling feature, it worked for Fools Gold.
