Hotel Georgia is a historic hotel that opened in 1927 located in Downtown Vancouver. The hotel is famous for the guests that have stayed within their posh walls including Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, the Prince of Wales, Natalie Wood, James Dean, Louis Armstrong, Marlon Brando, The Beatles, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Errol Flynn died while registered as a guest at the hotel in 1959. Apparently he had a heart attack in a West End apartment, then his friends brought him BACK to the Hotel Georgia and propped up the expired Errol in the lounge.
Currently the hotel is being restored as well as a new residence tower is being built. I’m so glad I got these pictures, the crossing paths of vertical and horizontal lines are very attractive. The neutral colors are aesthetically pleasurable as well.
