It’s the days I wait for
In between the cloudiness or rain
When the sky is blue in Vancouver, there’s nothing like it
Vitamin D soaks through my skin and I can feel it spreading
Around my shoulders, down my back and to my toes
Like I’m wrapped in a hot towel right out of the dryer
My nervous system is taken over by the rays
Creating a flood of happiness
and I am saved.
