Concert Tickets Restraint

Music and fashion go hand and hand, so yes, this post is okay for a fashion site.

Realization: I am a fan of most if not all music and that makes it very hard when purchasing concert tickets. In Greater Vancouver there are so many shows ALL THE TIME, I have (for realz) seen more shows in the last year and a half then I saw my whole life growing up in Alberta. It takes a lot of restraint to not go broke. I passed on buying Lenny Kravitz today, I have every Lenny cd and am a HUGE FAN! But I could not spend $180, I just couldn’t. This leaves more $ for all the shows that go to the smaller venues so that is how I justify it. Maybe I will make it to Richards on Richards for a couple of shows ($25/tic) next month after all

Black & White Wednesday

We were hosting a function with a motivational speaker at my office yesterday. This is what I wore all day at work, right before the function I changed into these black ribbed nylons and my shiny black ballet flats.

Note:

I did get home in time for America’s Next Top Model last night so that was good. Thank goodness Lauren went home, she just could not walk and struggled with bring a ‘Cover Girl’. I loved her photos but that can only take you so far.

I was just informed of this exciting news although, as The Vancouverista pointed out it will probably be old stock from their other stores. But old stock is better than no stock right?

Ebay Browsing Purple Dresses

Sometimes I forget that eBay is there for me, for whatever I may want or need I can find it on eBay. That may even be their slogan “You can find it on eBay” or something of the like. I struggled when looking for a pound-of-fat but other than that I’ve been enormously successful. Today I was looking for “purple dress” in vintage and these are my favorites. All dresses are $10 or under at post time and the sellers have great feedback. Click photos to view auctions.
