Thrift Outfit

Category: I ShopEyeliah @ 7:40 pm

Latest thrifting adventure went very well, there were more items than I had the money for!!  I had to NOT BUY a gorgeous red purse and a pretty purple blouse since I only had $31 in my wallet -BuMmeR.

I was there 4 days prior and there was not much I liked, it just goes to show how important it is to go regular. 🙂  This trip I tried on about 25 great items in 2 rounds of the changerooms.  I ended up with 6 items and below is 1/2 of the lot as an outfit! 😉

Black jacket: $10, Leather Skirt: $4, $4?! Wow!, Cream Blouse: $6

Hi – I’ve enjoyed reading your blog, just found it the other day. Any tips on where you like to go thrifting? I have come across suggestions from others for Richmond, Coquitlam but I’m looking for something closer to the West End. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks for posting all your outfits, it’s very inspiring.

    Hi Helen,
Thanks for your nice words and support! There are no thrift stores in the West End that I know of. The best finds are at thrift stores in suburban areas anyways. Any Salvation Army or VV is a good place to start. Consignment stores are good too, a bit pricier than thrift but easier searching. I hope this helps. 🙂

I feel you girl! I tell myself I am only going to spend 10 dollars or I am only going to go once this week. Of course it never pans out. I scored some amazing half-boots and a leopard top today so it all evens out in the end. Especially when you go out and people comment on the outfit you’re wearing. ;r)

I love that outfit! So demure and pretty. I hate when I don’t bring enough cash thrifting, but I guess it helps me use discretion.
